About

Fiction in all
its forms.

Through Strange Lands is a place for stories — novels published chapter by chapter, short fiction, visual work, interactive narratives, and experiments that don't have a clean category yet.

All of it is written by me. The subjects change — the genre changes, the form changes — but the instinct behind each piece is the same: to make something that earns its own existence, that couldn't have been made by anyone else, in quite this way, at quite this moment.

I'm interested in the gap between what people say and what they mean. In ordinary objects that carry disproportionate weight. In the way certain places remember things that the people in them have forgotten. In fiction as a way of knowing — not explaining, not arguing, but knowing.

New work goes up when it's ready. The novel updates on no particular schedule. If you want to know when something new appears, the RSS feed is the best way.
